The Sioux Empire Amateur Radio Club will be hosting a entry level amateur radio Technician Licensing class for our colleagues in the public service and first responder community. The course will run over eight consecutive Saturdays, starting January 21st, 2017 in various locations in Sioux Falls, SD. The final class will conclude on March 11th, 2017. Testing will be available the following Tuesday during our regularly scheduled VE session. Deadline to register for this course is January 7th, 2017.

This course is being offered free of charge, but participants are encouraged to purchase a copy of the course book: ‘ARRL Ham Radio License Manual, 3rd Edition‘. Registration preference is being given to those in public service, law enforcement, first responders, and community service organizations (i.e. Red Cross) members. Class size is limited to the first 30 students.
