Welcome to the Sioux Empire Amateur Radio Club (SEARC) website.  SEARC is a diverse group of amateur radio operators (Hams) that are interested in learning, collaborating and promoting the hobby, sport and service of amateur radio in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota metropolitan area and southeast South Dakota.  SEARC is an ARRL affiliated club.

Spring is upon us and it’s time for some fox hunting! SEARC will be having our first session of 2025 next Saturday, April 26th, 2025. This session is a training session, so the location of the fox is known. This is a great opportunity to check out your equipment, antenna and procedures.The fox will be active from 1000 - 1200 CDT on Saturday from Legacy Park on 12th St., east of Sertoma. Thank you to the US National Weather Service Sioux Falls South Dakota for hosting SEARC for SkyWarn Recognition Day 2024!
