If you’ve been meaning to get your ham radio license — or upgrade from Technician to General or Extra — Tuesday, May 12th is a good time to make it happen.
SEARC is holding a Volunteer Examiner (VE) test session that day, and at least one candidate is already signed up. Come join them.
One timing note worth knowing: the Element 2 (Technician) question pool changes on July 1, 2026. Test before that date and you study the current pool, which has been stable for years with plenty of materials available. Test after July 1st and you’re starting fresh with a new pool.
If you’ve already put in study time, there’s no reason to sit on it.
